Our Little Tilapia Family 😁
We have a wonderful family of cats living with us.
They are called "tilapia" cats.
Just like the fish, their fur has pretty patterns of gray and brown stripes.
Tilapia cat is a Filipino term for domestic cats with gray tabby coats.
They are part of our home and our garden.
It is fun to watch them play and rest in our yard every day.
They like to sit on the concrete path near the plants.
Here's the Mother Cat
She is a beautiful cat with lovely black and gray patches. She looks very calm and watches over the others. She also likes to lift her paw to clean herself, looking very busy and cute.
Here are the offsprings
We have a few younger male offsprings who are mostly gray with dark stripes. One of them has very bright, pretty green eyes. They are gentle but full of energy!
And the youngest with lovely orange and dark brown patches. She's the loudest and the naughtiest. 😁 The only female of all the offspring.
These cats spend a lot of time in our garden after it rains. They like to sit on the cool ground while they clean their soft fur. Sometimes they sit very still, watching the birds or waiting for us to come outside.
They are very sweet companions. Having them in our garden makes our home feel complete. It is nice to sit and watch them enjoy the quiet afternoon.
The way they move around, curious and playful, is just too adorable to ignore.
