Science XPdition: Exploring the second room - Chemistry and Physics 2/4

We went to Science XPdition in Festive Mall, Iloilo City, and we enjoyed it.
Previously, I shared the different displays we saw in the first room 👉Science XPdition: Exploring the first room 1/4, and now, I am going to show you the second room — the Physics and Chemistry Station.

Just like the first room, the second exhibit is still under low light and with green accents. Among the displays is the Hutchison Demonstration.

It has a metal disc and a magnetic acrylic disc. When you move the magnetic acrylic disc, it causes the metal disc to move as well. It shows how magnetic fields can cause unexpected rotation without physical contact.

The Variable Demonstration

A device that allows visitors to manipulate voice frequencies to observe changes in pitch and speed

Semiconductor & Thermoelectric Cooling

It demonstrates how electrical energy can transfer heat between two points using a thermocouple, often used in refrigeration

We went out of the second room full of knowledge and excitement for what the next room would offer.
