Orchids in Contrast: A Delicate Twist on my Garden

Hi there, gardeners on Hive❗
How's your garden? 😁 Mine is blooming beautifully. More and more flowers are showing off every day.
Today, I want to share my orchids. It's been a while since I last posted about them because I always share about my hibiscus flowers and roses. I can't provide their specific names because here in my country, we just call them orchids and vanda 😆
But instead of showing their vivid colors, I edited the photos and changed the colors to a matte tone. At first, I was hesitant, but I love how my photos turned out.
Now, here are my matte vandas 😊
They are looking pretty healthy.
I am so happy with how the color grading made my vandas stand out. You can still see the green leaves, but the desaturation and matte look make you focus more on the flowers.

Next are my white and light purple orchids. They always grow in big bunches. They almost look like a bouquet of flowers.
The buds are light green, but they slowly turn white when they open. There's also a faint shade of purple on its petals.
I think the color grading made the flowers pop, because of its dull background.

And lastly, here are my pure white orchids. They are a bit larger than the other orchids. They only bloom a few flowers on one stem. There is also a faint floral scent when they bloom, but it fades after a day or two.

Of all the photos, I think these are the most dramatic ones. The color grading gave the white flowers a clean look.
These matte color tones made my flower photos a bit dramatic, vintage, and moody.
I love how they turned out. I hope you do, too. 😊

You've cultivated quite the orchid collection—these flowers are beautiful in both form and color. May is the month when they bloom, followed by June and July. May your garden continue to thrive. Best regards.
Thank you so much 🥰
The weather is quite unpredictable these days, but my flowers are thriving. I'm waiting for my purple orchids to bloom
