MyDailyColor - 01/28/2026 Red ❤️ - Melted Votive Candles 🕯️

This Wednesday's entry is photos of melted red votive candles. These candles are outside the Trappist Church. Churchgoers lit these candles to symbolize devotion and to offer prayers. They let the candles melt while praying and then left them there. The church staff will then collect the melted candles to free up some space for the next person who wants to pray. They can also drop any amount of money into the donation box for church funds.

The red and black contrast makes the candle stand look more sacred and holy. The stand is made of metal and was painted black. There were 3 of these stand outside the church. Which makes it convenient for people. The stands look full and candles were all melted. This was because I took the photos right after the mass. Most people drop by here to offer prayers before going back home. The church staff hasn't scraped the melted candles yet.
