🌸 A Wednesday Afternoon Walk: Just Green Vibes and Purple Blooms 🌳💜

Hello Hivers!! 👋
Here's a look at my simple but lovely walk this afternoon... 💚

I headed out hoping to find a new coffee shop in town.. ☕️
You know, sometimes, the best part of the adventure is the walk itself,,
and today, nature really puts on a show today.. 🌿 🌺

Walking along the highway, the sun was shining,, and the air felt fresh.. 🍃 🍃 🍃

The sidewalk was lined with a beautiful strip of green.. 💚

There were rows of leafy trees whose leaves gave a lovely patterned shadow on the ground.. 💚

Further on,, a single broader tree stood alone,, 🌳

its branches reaching out to create a perfect canopy of shade over the sidewalk,,
making the walk so much cooler..
Its leaves were thick and green,, a perfect shield from the afternoon sun..

Then, something caught my eye 👀
right in front of an old abandoned house,, a patch of beautiful wild flowers was blooming 🌸

The house itself looked interesting, too 🏠

it was a pale cream color with a balcony and seemed to be slowly getting covered in vibrant green vines that climbed up the walls and railings..
It had a mysterious old-world look..
But the flowers in front were the real stars..

They were tall skinny flowers with soft-looking heads that were a mix of white, pink, and vibrant purple..

They looked almost like the head of a rooster,,
or a gentle flame,, popping up brightly against the mass of green leaves and vines..
It was amazing to see such bright colorful life right in front of a quiet old house..
It just shows how nature keeps going,, no matter what!!

"Life finds a way" 🌱

Even abandoned places can have the most beautiful purple flowers..
Maybe we should all try to bloom wherever we were planted, too!! 😊

We also walked past one of the oldest churches in our town..

It was a big and light yellow building with a square tower,,
a dome on top and a cross reaching to the blue sky..
It looked strong and grand behind a huge and bright green gate..
It's always a peaceful sight,, reminding me of the long history of our town..

"Old buildings tell stories" 💖

I bet that old house and the church have seen so much..
It's fun to imagine the stories the walls could tell!!

I went looking for fancy coffee but the biggest treat of my day was the free show of nature and the cool shade of the big trees..

Sometimes, the best walk is the one that surprises you with beauty right in your own hometown..
I wish you all had experienced the same happiness as I had experienced today.
