🌳 A Morning Walk in Paradise: Trappist Guest House Grounds 🌴

What a wonderful Wednesday it is!! 🌞🌿

I just had the most refreshing walk near the Trappist Guest House here in Jordan, Guimaras, and I had to share the beauty with my favorite #WednesdayWalk community!!
If you ever need a dose of peace and green, this is the place to be..

The path less traveled... but so beautiful! 😍

I started my walk on a lovely, shaded path..
The sun was just peeking through the tall trees,, making the green grass look extra bright and inviting..
Doesn't it look like a pathway leading straight into a forest fairy tale?! 😁
It was so quiet and peaceful,, just the sound of birds and my own happy footsteps.. 😊

⛪️ As I walked,, I spotted the guest house buildings..

I really liked this view with the little chapel-like structure and the green roofed building behind it..
It all sits so perfectly within the surrounding greenery..

Looking up, I caught this amazing view of the blue sky between two tall palm trees..

Right in the middle, you can see a simple cross on the roof..
It reminded me that even in a bustling world,, there are these pockets of quiet faith and nature..
I love how the palm trees frame it,, it's like a natural, tropical cathedral..

🌿 The grounds here are filled with all kinds of plants..
I came across this amazing bush that was covered in deep, dark berries.. 🍇

Look closer at these clusters!!
They start as pale green or yellowish bumps, turn a pretty red or pink and then ripen into this gorgeous, almost black-purple color..
It's such a lovely mix of colors all on one branch!!
I didn't touch them, of course, just enjoyed their beautiful contrast against the shiny, dark-green leaves..
Nature's colors are always the best palette!!

🌲 Finally, I got to the open grassy area where some tall, straight trees stand watch over the buildings..

It was a perfect morning to look up at the bright blue sky and feel small,, yet totally connected to this beautiful world..
The air was fresh and clean..
What a wonderful way to start the day!!

I hope this short photo journey brought a bit of tropical sunshine and peace to your own Wednesday.. 😊
Remember to take a little walk today,, even if it's just around your block..
It really does wonders for the soul!!

Wala pa kasi tao that time.. super aga pa.. Wala akong mapagtanungang mga tao or monks.. pero baka pwede kasi nasa gilid lng xa ng guest house,, 😅

Such a calming vibe in all your photos and I felt a quiet little escape you had. I love the mix of greenery, trees, sunlight, and those berries you found. Are they sweet already? Or can be eaten?
