A day in my garden: Meet the colorful beauties of my front yard

Good day, Hive Gardeners ☀️

How's your garden doing today?
Mine is just full of life and I wanted to tell you about some of the plants I was looking at this morning.. It made me so happy,, like seeing old friends.. 😍

I have a bunch of plants whose leaves are the real stars of my garden..

There's my Aglaonema and honestly, it looks like a painting..

Its big leaves are deep green with white spots all over,, like little splashes of milk..It sits right next to the pots of Coleus plants,,

the Coleus, which is where the color really goes wild

One Coleus is electric yellow-green with hot pink running through the center and another is dark green with bright pink and creamy white triangles

They look like velvet and are so much fun to look at..

I also have Pisonia

big, leafy bush with pale yellow and lime-green leaves..
It makes that shady spot look so bright..

But of course,, the flowering plants are putting on a show too...

Right now, my Busy Lizzy is covered in simple, flat flowers that are the most incredible hot pink. They're just so cheerful..

Next to it is a plant called Garden Balsam, and its flowers are so fancy..

They're a dark, deep red and they look like tiny, ruffly roses,,
much more elegant than the Busy Lizzy..

My favorites today, though,, are the Star-Clusters..

They grow these perfect little bouquets of tiny, star-shaped flowers..

I have them in a true, bright red, a really lovely deep pink and a soft, gentle purple..
The bees and butterflies buzz all around those clusters.. They're like little landing pads for our garden visitors..

It's amazing how much joy these simple, colorful plants bring every day..
