Ćerka i ja smo poslednjih dana uhvaćene u nepodnošljivu rutinu koju obe ne podnosimo. Postoje ljudi kojima to prija, ali nas dve smo alergične na rutinu.
Juče sam je dočekala iz škole sa predlogom da odemo u najstariju apoteku u gradu. Reakcija je bila odprilike: Šta ti je to?
Ali stvari su se brzo promenile. Rekla sam joj da će to biti neobično i sigurno lepo iskustvo. I dok mnogi roditelji decu vode na profane zabave, ja koristim svaku priliku da edukujem svoje dete i proširim njenu radoznalost. Krenule smo sa entuzijazmom jer smo svakako krenule u avanturu.
Apoteka nije daleko pa smo brzo stigle, popele se stepenicama, pozvonile na vrata a takvo zvono nikad u životu nisam čula!Zvučalo je malo jezivo ali priča o zvonu nam se ubrzo svidela. Dakle, ulazimo u prošlost. . .

In recent days, my daughter and I have been caught up in an unbearable routine that we both cannot stand. There are people who like it, but the two of us are allergic to routine.
Yesterday I picked her up from school with the suggestion that we go to the oldest pharmacy in town. The reaction was something like: What is that to you?
But things changed quickly. I told her that it would be an unusual and certainly a nice experience. And while many parents take their children to profane parties, I take every opportunity to educate my child and expand her curiosity. We set off with enthusiasm because we were definitely going on an adventure.
The pharmacy is not far, so we arrived quickly, climbed the stairs, rang the doorbell, and I have never heard such a bell in my life! It sounded a little creepy, but we soon liked the story of the bell. So, we are entering the past. . .

Gospoda koja nas je dočekala, objasnila nam je da je zvonce neobično jer pripada vremenu kada je otvorena ova apoteka a to znači da je iz 18 veka! Ova apoteka na stepenicama je prva i najstarija apoteka otvorena 1784 godine pod nazivom "Apoteka kod spasitelja".
Hm, ima logike.

The lady who welcomed us explained that the bell is unusual because it belongs to the time when this pharmacy was opened, which means that it is from the 18th century! This pharmacy on the stairs is the first and oldest pharmacy opened in 1784 under the name "Apothecary at the Saviour".
Hm, there is logic.

U „oficini“, tačnije prvoj prostoriji izloženi su vaga, kasa, stojnice, zvono na ulazu i skoro čitav inventar iz druge polovine 18. stoleća. U drugoj prostoriji prikazana je istorija zdravstvene kulture.

In the "office", or rather the first room, the scale, cash register, stalls, bell at the entrance and almost the entire inventory from the second half of the 18th century are on display. In the second room, the history of health culture is shown.

Inače, prvi vlasnik apoteke je bio Nemac a poslednji, brat čuvenog vršačkog slikara Paje Jovanovića.

By the way, the first owner of the pharmacy was a German, and the last, the brother of the famous Vršac painter Paja Jovanović.

Predmeti su bili fascinantni za sve ljubitelje starine, čak su sačuvani i originalni recepti i papirići sa porukama. Najlepši deo ove postavke su posude sa raznim lekovitim travama iz kojih se širio predivan miris lekovitih trava.

The objects were fascinating for all lovers of antiquity, even original recipes and pieces of paper with messages were preserved. The most beautiful part of this setting are the pots with various medicinal herbs, from which spread the wonderful aroma of medicinal herbs.

Zatim smo kroz prve tri prostorije, došle i do druge postavke nekadašnje apoteke a sada gradskog Muzeja.
U pitanju je zbirka prepariranje životinja nastala krajem 19 i početkom 20 veka.

Then, through the first three rooms, we reached the second setting of the former pharmacy and now the city Museum.
This is a collection of animal taxidermy created at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century.

Zatim smo stigle i do eksponata z oblasti paleontologije, osteologije kao i ornitologije.
Bilo je zaista fascinantni, kao da ste u vremenskoj mašini.

Then we got to exhibits from the fields of paleontology, osteology, and ornithology.
It was really fascinating, like being in a time machine.

Posetu muzeju smo završile odlaskom na tavan ove barokne zgrade gde smo videle kako su apotekari nekada sušili i pakovali lekovito bilje. Pod je bio toliko star da smo se plašile da ne propadne i ali kustos nas je ubedio da ne brinemo.

We ended our visit to the museum by going to the attic of this baroque building, where we saw how apothecaries used to dry and pack medicinal herbs. The floor was so old that we were afraid it would fail, but the curator convinced us not to worry.

Toliko bogate istorije kroz vreme da nam se zavrtelo u glavi. Zahvalila smo se kustosu i otvaranjem vrata opet smo zazvonile starim zvonom koje će opet najaviti kao i nama putovanje u prošlost. Nadam se da ste uživali u današnjoj priči.💌
