Abundant and everlasting blessings to all the members of this @worldmappin community. It is a pleasure to greet you and wish you a happy and blessed start to the week. May God fill you with peace.

Continuing my tour of the San Luis area, today I am sharing my visit to Los Bordones Beach. This beach is located approximately one kilometer from the "I Love Cumaná" plaza. The entrance features a beautiful wooden sign with colorful lettering reading "Cumaná" and "Playa Los Bordones"; I feel these vibrant letters offer a warm welcome, inviting visitors to enjoy the soft sand and refreshing waters of the Caribbean Sea. The beach offers several thatched-roof huts or shelters—ideal for protection from the sun—as well as numerous palm trees scattered throughout the area. The latter are among my favorites, as I associate them with tropical beaches; indeed, palm trees seem to be the iconic symbol of most beaches in eastern Venezuela, and Los Bordones is no exception. Upon entering, you are greeted by a welcome mural followed by a path flanked by palm trees and areas for volleyball and other sports, all offering incredible views of the beach. To one side, you will find kiosks serving delicious food, with views of the Los Bordones Hotel building and the mountains bordering the national highway to Puerto La Cruz. After walking past the kiosks, I headed toward the area with the thatched huts; it seems to me that the number of kiosks has increased since my last visit, forming a long row along the shoreline. In addition to the kiosks, there are yellow umbrellas with chairs set up right by the water—perfect for those who enjoy relaxing in this setting while taking in the breeze and the sound of the waves.

As I moved forward, I took the path lined with shaded shelters and noticed that it stretches for quite a distance; it is a space that offers shade where families can gather while enjoying the beach. In addition to the canopies located right at the water's edge, there are these shaded structures—ideal for stowing beach bags and gear, enjoying the shade, or simply resting by the sea. There are two types of shelters: smaller ones right by the shore and the ones along the path that extends for several meters. The following photograph shows the shaded path and, in the background, the kiosks selling a wide variety of food and drinks, along with recreational areas for families. It was a pleasant walk along the shore, taking in the shaded structures and the beautiful seascape that characterizes this part of the city. An important detail is that the beach is kept clean and has trash bins available. Thanks for joining me on this adventure.
