Beautiful weather, time for my Wednesday Walk

Hello everyone, I hope that you are all doing great, enjoying time with friends and family😃

Today is wednesday, and the weather is fine, time for my wednesday walk. I decided to drive to another city not very far from where I live, and go for a walk.
The city is not very big, and generally not very exciting, at least not the city centre, so I decided to visit a small park, a 5 minute walk from the city centre. I managed to capture some pictures to share with you...

In the centre of the park there was this little pond. You are probably not able to see it on the pictures, but in, and around the pond there was a lot of animal activity...birds, ducks, frogs and even some small fish in the water. Insect activity was also pretty hectic around the pond...

On the picture above, I managed to capture one of the ducks in the pond. I went out on the small bridge that you are able to see in the background, and I stayed there for around 15 minutes, enjoing the weather and the animal activity in the pond.

On the backside of the pond, there was this little recreational area, with some places to sit down and enjoy the flowers.

Sadly summer is almost coming to an end, that becomes very obvious if you look at the flower beds, the weeds are beginning to take over, making it not so pretty to look at...but there is still some color left....Decided that I would return next spring, or early summer to enjoy the flower beds.

Last, but not least, the was also a small playground in the park..

I visited the park early afternoon, people still at work or in school, so I was alone almost all of the time...From what I know, there is usually a lot of people here, especially if the weather is fine like today. I didn't mind spending time there on my own, but maybe the pictures would have become more alive with some people in them...but nothing to do about that now😀

After my visit to the park, I walked back to my car and drove back home, a great Wednesday Walk in fantastic weather...
