Postales de Caballito | Un paseo por su barrio y alrededores [ES/EN]

Every time I go for a walk I try to take some pictures. Although knowing me, it is something that is very difficult for me, because I almost always end up with more than 200 images. However, I really liked the idea of portraying the city; in this case it's Caballito.
The nightlife also has its vibe, and I thought it was excellent to show it in these images that I will share with you below. I had previously been to Caballito Shopping Center, and if you want to take a look at that post you can click here.
Cada vez que salgo de paseo intento tomar algunas fotografías. Aunque conociéndome, es algo que me cuesta muchísimo, pues casi siempre termino con más de 200 imágenes. Sin embargo, me gustó mucho la idea de retratar la ciudad; en este caso se trata de Caballito.
La vida nocturna también tiene su onda, y me pareció excelente dejar constancia de ello en estas imágenes que les compartiré a continuación. Anteriormente había ido al Caballito Shopping Center, y si quieren echarle un vistazo a esa publicación pueden clickear aquí.

Walking along Rivadavia Avenue seemed like a good idea, not only because it is a busy place, but also because there is a large park. It caught my attention that there were bookstalls along the park. They are called “Libreros”, and apparently there are a large number of them distributed throughout the park, and I imagine throughout the city.
The truth is that I'm not much of a reader, so I didn't go there to see what they had to offer, but for those who are more adept at reading books, it's a good opportunity to find the literary work you are looking for.
Caminar por la avenida Rivadavia me pareció buena idea, no solo por ser un lugar bastante transitado, sino también porque hay un parque bastante extenso. Me llamó la atención que habían puestos de libros a lo largo del parque. Se los llaman "Libreros", y al parecer existen una gran cantidad de ellos distribuidos por el parque, e imagino que por la ciudad.
La verdad como no soy de mucha lectura, no me arrimé a ver qué ofrecían, pero quienes sean más adeptos a la lectura de libros propiamente dichos, es una buena oportunidad de encontrar la obra literaria que tanto buscas.

Walking down this avenue is a very pleasant activity. The lighting is very well distributed, with several stores to visit when the opportunity arises. Also the detail of being a place where trees abound, which give a certain freshness to the whole environment around us. Of course, it is a very busy avenue, although being wide enough, it does not represent a nuisance, at least you do not hear honking like in other places. I would be inclined to say that it is a very peaceful area.
Caminar por esta avenida es una actividad muy placentera. La iluminación está muy bien distribuida, con varios comercios a los que visitar cuando amerite la oportunidad. También el detalle de ser un lugar en donde abundan los árboles, que le dan cierta frescura a todo el ambiente de nuestro alrededor. Eso sí, es una avenida muy transitada, aunque al ser lo suficientemente ancha, no representa una molestia, al menos no se escuchan bocinazos como en otros lugares. Me inclinaría a decir que es una zona de mucha paz.

A few steps away was the entrance to Rivadavia Park, although I think you could enter through the other entrance; the one with the books. This park is very large covering approximately two blocks. In it we can find places where children can have fun, and spaces where teenagers can enjoy themselves, for example, in a skating rink.
I decided to go a little deeper to walk around this green space and I found some things that I loved, and that I would take a picture of, of course.
A pocos pasos estaba la entrada al Parque Rivadavia, aunque creo que se podría entrar por el otro acceso; el de los libros. Este parque es muy grande cubriendo aproximadamente unas dos cuadras. En él podemos encontrar lugares donde los niños se pueden divertir, y espacios donde los adolescentes pueden disfrutar, por ejemplo, en una pista de patinaje.
Decidí adentrarme un poco para recorrer este espacio verde y me encontré con algunas cosas que me encantaron, y a las que les tomaría una fotografía, claro está.

The first thing I spotted in the distance because of its dimensions was the monument to Simon Bolivar, along with some statues of which I do not have much knowledge, but which I also found impressive.
They are sculptures with a very impressive detail, which I assume have their time of antiquity, which undoubtedly marks a moment in history, and a story behind.
Lo primero que divisé a lo lejos por sus dimensiones fue el monumento a Simón Bolívar, junto con unas estatuas de las que no tengo mucho conocimiento, pero que me parecieron también impactantes.
Se trata de esculturas con un detalle muy impresionante, que asumo tienen su tiempo de antigüedad, lo que indudablemente marca un momento en la historia, y una historia detrás.

The following photographs will attempt to demonstrate how detailed the statues are. I in particular found them exceptional to look at and contemplate.

Although it was not that late, there were many people who seemed to want to stay a long time in the park. There were families, couples, friends, all enjoying this space. Dogs were also seen walking along with their owner.
The park itself is very well lit, which makes the place much safer. What I imagine is that some flashy event will happen sometime, but overall, I felt in complete safety in there.
Si bien no era tan tarde, había mucha gente que parecía querer quedarse un buen rato en el parque. Habían familias, parejas, amigos, todos disfrutando de este espacio. También se veían perros paseando junto a su dueño.
El parque en sí está muy iluminado, lo que hace que el lugar sea mucho más seguro. Lo que imagino es que alguna vez ocurrirá algún hecho llamativo, pero en general, me sentí en completa seguridad allí dentro.

There was even a small lake very attractive visually, surrounded by some seats where you could spend a relaxing moment, or maybe chatting with someone.
The truth is that I thought it was a very nice place. Whoever made this architecture I think deserves a round of applause.
Hasta había un pequeño lago muy atractivo visualmente, rodeado de algunos asientos en los que podías pasar un momento de relax, o tal vez charlando junto a alguien.
La verdad es que me pareció un lugar muy lindo. Quien haya hecho esta arquitectura creo que merece un aplauso.

It was time to walk back down the avenue and take some more pictures. I was interested in portraying the city and its stores, with the particularity of that elegant touch that the city offers. I continued a few more blocks until I crossed and returned on the other side of the street.
Ya era momento de regresar camino por la avenida y tomar algunas otras fotografías. Me interesaba retratar lo que es la ciudad junto a sus comercios, con la particularidad de ese toque elegante que ofrece la ciudad. Continué unas cuadras más hasta cruzar y regresar por la otra vereda.

In different parts of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, you can usually find these bicycles that you can buy to move around the city. I'm not sure how they work, but I imagine that they work by using an application to obtain a permit.
They don't seem to be very popular, but there they are, as one more option to travel around the city. To keep in mind.
En distintos puntos de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, se suelen encontrar estas bicicletas que uno puede adquirir para moverse por la ciudad. No sé muy bien como es que funcionan, pero imagino que es utilizando alguna aplicación para obtener el permiso.
No parecen ser muy solicitadas que digamos, pero ahí están, como una opción más para viajar por la ciudad. A tenerlo en cuenta.

As I had mentioned, this avenue has several stores. It is not difficult to find gastronomic or coffee shops. They are quite spacious, although I could not say with certainty what prices the dishes or menus would range. But they are elegant.
Como había mencionado, esta avenida tiene comercios varios. No es difícil encontrarse con locales gastronómicos o de café. Son bastante espaciosos, aunque no podría decir con certeza qué precios oscilarían los platillos o menúes. Pero sí que son elegantes.

Along the avenue we also find the typical business of the famous Havanna alfajores. This brand has grown a lot, and beyond having stores that are distributed throughout the country, they offer an incredible variety of services.
Not only can you find alfajores, but they also sell coffee in different versions of delicious flavors. Of course, the prices are considerably high.
A lo largo de la avenida también nos encontramos con el típico negocio de los famosos alfajores Havanna. Esta marca ha crecido muchísimo, y más allá de tener locales que se distribuyen a lo largo del país, ofrecen una variedad de servicios increíble.
No solo puedes encontrar alfajores, pues allí también venden café en distintas versiones de sabores deliciosos. Eso sí, los precios son considerablemente altos.

It is also common to find gastronomic businesses that offer typical food from other countries, such as shawarma. I walked across the street and I could see a man preparing them for a customer to taste. The truth is that they have a lot of skill, so I stayed there watching how he was preparing it, and at the same time I was tasting it hahaha.
También es de encontrarse negocios gastronómicos que ofrecen comidas típicas de otros países, como los shawarma. Pasé por enfrente y podía ver a un hombre preparándolos para el deguste de algún cliente. La verdad es que tienen mucha habilidad, así que me quedé viendo cómo lo preparaba, a la vez que me saboreaba jajaja.

I found this place very interesting. Not only can you order a coffee or a toast, but right at the entrance there is an extension where you can buy ice cream. In general, businesses like these are very well presented, which is attractive to a potential customer.
Este local me pareció muy interesante. No solo puedes pedir un café o un tostado, pues justo en la entrada hay una extensión donde puede comprar helados. En general negocios como estos están muy bien presentados, lo que resulta atractivo para un potencial cliente.

Since it was time to go home, I went to where I thought I could catch the bus, although to tell the truth, they had changed the place where the bus stopped. I had to ask, but at the last minute I looked where it stopped, ran and took it.
The good thing is that the last picture I took, I realized that the Eternauta series, the one shown on Netflix, was in the background. I think it is a detail that makes this last picture a good postcard. The night was quite quiet and it was a pleasure to visit each of the places I showed in this publication, although knowing how huge the city is, this is something tiny.
Como ya era hora de regresar a casa, me dirigí hacia donde creí que podía tomar el bus, aunque a decir verdad, habían cambiado el lugar de la parada. Me tocó preguntar, aunque a lo último miré donde paraba, corrí y lo tomé.
Lo bueno es que la última fotografía que tomé, me di cuenta que estaba de fondo la serie del Eternauta, la que dieron en Netflix. Creo que es un detalle que hace que esta última fotografía sea una buena postal. La noche estuvo bastante tranquila y fue un placer visitar cada uno de los lugares que mostré en esta publicación, aunque sabiendo lo inmensa que es la ciudad, esto es algo ínfimo.

Pasear por la ciudad en la noche es algo que me encantaría poder hacer, pues se ve fantástica. Me imagino que ese parque durante el día debe ser muy concurrido.

Excelente publicación estimado amigo. Me encanta caminar los parques pero sobre todo en épocas de primavera y/o verano. Para ojos observadores existen infinidades de posibilidades de deslumbrarse. Tenemos una hermosa ciudad y gracias por compartirlo en la comunidad.

¡Qué paseo tan lleno de imágenes pintorescas! Me encantaron los locales comerciales gastronómicos, las librerías en la calle, el pequeño lago en medio de un conglomerado asfáltico, el detalle de las esculturas femeninas. Y no puedo dejar de admirar, la estatua ecuestre del Libertador Simón Bolívar. No conozco ese lugar a fondo, solamente de paso. Así que trataré de ir a dar una vuelta por uno de esos sitios tan lindos que nos traes hoy, en tu publicación.
