Winter Wonderland or Snow Chaos? What's the most accurate description for you?
Winter-Wunderland oder Schneechaos? Was trifft für euch zu?
Ich denke, wenn man beruflich nicht mit dem Auto unterwegs sein muss oder Wege zu erledigen hat, dann kann man sich über den Schnee freuen, in allen anderen Fällen ist es in Wien eher ein Schneechaos, Wege sind matschig und sehr rutschig, Treppen zur U-Bahn vereist, und die Straßenreinigung kommt mit dem Wegräumen des Schnees gar nicht mehr nach. Was sagt ihr dazu?

Winter wonderland or snow chaos? Which applies to you?
I think if you don't have to travel by car for work or have errands to do, then you can be happy about the snow, in all other cases it's more like snow chaos in Vienna, paths are slushy and very slippery, stairs to the subway are icy, and the street cleaners can't even keep up with clearing the snow. What do you think?

Mir egal momentan, aber meiner Frau nicht, da Sie 60km×2 fahren muss, also egal für mich, aber ich mache mir dann ja Sorgen.

I love snowfall as much as I loved it as a child. Winter should be snowy. And children can go downhill and sledding.
Winter wonderland if it's Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, otherwise snow chaos. ❄️
Although the landscape can be charming, and I am in favor of winter, I believe it is challenging to carry out activities outside the home during this season.

snow may look like winter wonderland but in reality that is the challenges many people face during winter.
Zum Glück wohn ich am Stadtrand, da kann man die weiße Pracht noch bewundern, in der Stadt ist es eher Fluch statt Segen.
I know there are many problems in this kind of weather but I like this kind of weather very much.

I don't know what to say because it doesn't snow where I am at. It only snows in the mountains or up further north.

We don’t see snows here or the other but it is being foggy here and that has been for a few days now
Ich freu mich immer wieder, wenn Schnee fällt und der dann auch liegen bleibt. Dann sieht alles gleich anders aus und es erinnert mich sehr an meine Kindheit (damals lag bei uns öfter und mehr Schnee gefühlt). :)
Aber natürlich versteh ich auch die Leute, die der Schnee nervt. :D
Mitten in der Natur ist Schnee super, in der Stadt, naja ... und wenn dann auch die Flüge gestrichen werden weil das Bodenpersonal überfordert ist, dann bleibt man eher daheim ;)
