How is the service on a low budget Ryanair / Lauda flight. The only place without taxes 😂
Bin wieder nach Bulgarien geflogen, diesmal mit der Lauda, eine Marke die in der Zwischenzeit von Ryanair übernommen worden ist.
Billigflug bedeutet so circa 230 Euro für Hin- und Rückflug, Monate im Voraus gebucht, inklusive Koffer und extra Tasche. Jedes einzelne Gepäckstück muss man extra buchen, das summiert sich. Ist aber bei allen Luftlinien im Prinzip so ähnlich.
Allerdings ist das Limit für einen Koffer bei Ryanair nur 20kg, bei Austrian Airlines 23kg.
Zum Bordservice. Alle Getränke sind kostenpflichtig. Selbst Wasser wird einem nicht mehr kostenlos angeboten.
Die Kaffeemaschine war kaputt, macht nichts, Kaffee trinke ich nur noch koffeinfrei. Ein Cola kommt auf 3,25 Euro.
Positiv überrascht hat mich, dass es sogar Sandwiches und warme Gerichte gegen Aufpreis gibt. Das werde ich vielleicht beim Rückflug testen.
Duty Free im Flieger ist günstig. Parfums von bekannten Marken kosten 20 Euro, kein Fake, man erspart sich in der Luft auch noch die Umsatzsteuer. Einziger Ort ohne Steuern 😂
Internet an Board gab es übrigens keines. Aber braucht man für Kurzstrecke eh nicht wirklich.

I flew to Bulgaria again, this time with Lauda, a brand that has since been taken over by Ryanair.
Cheap flight means about 230 euros for round trip, booked months in advance, including suitcase and extra bag. Every single piece of luggage has to be paid separately, which adds up. But it is similar for all airlines.
However, the limit for a suitcase with Ryanair is only 20kg, with Austrian Airlines 23kg.
About in-flight service. All drinks are subject to a charge. Even water is no longer offered free of charge.
The coffee machine was broken, does not matter, since I drink only decaffeinated. A Coke comes at EUR 3.25.
I was positively surprised that there are even sandwiches and hot dishes for an extra charge. I might try that on the return flight.
Duty Free in the airplane is favorable. Perfumes from well-known brands cost 20 euros, no fake, you also save the sales tax in the air. The only place without taxes 😂
By the way, there was no Internet on board. But you don't really need for short haul anyway.

Ist immer die Frage ob es eine echte Alternative gibt. Wenn man mit dem Auto 12 und mehr Stunden unterwegs wäre ist ein kurzer Flug schon interessant. Die Bahn ist ja oft noch deutlich teurer. Als wir im Sommer nach Stuttgart sind, wollten die für eine Fahrt schon fast hundert Euro haben. Ganz ehrlich, ich geb doch keine 600-800 Euro für Bahntickets aus wenn ich mit dem Auto genauso schnell und für einen Bruchteil hin komme, oder? Sind dann gefahren. 🤷🏼♂️

Kein Internet stört mich an Bord eines Fliegers auch nicht. Mir wird schlecht, wenn ich während des Flugs auf einen Bildschirm schaue. Daher höre ich eigentlich nur Musik, wenn ich unterwegs bin.
Oh wirklich? Flug war sehr ruhig diesmal. Bildschirm kann einen Motion Sick machen, aber vlt gewöhnt man sich daran, ähnlich wie VR.
i dont usually buy food or items in the airplane. they are expansive. i just sleep.
Fliegen wird demnächst für normalsterbliche sicherlich auch verboten oder so teuer, dass sie es sich nicht mehr leisten können.
Genieß die Zeit in der es noch möglich ist.

I have never bought anything on a plane.
Wusste gar nicht, dass Ryanair Lauda gekauft hat. 230€ dafür dass Du Monate schon im voraus Dein Ticket geholt hast ist viel für so ne Billigairline. Kein Internet bei so einer kurzen Strecke sollte kein Problem sein. Genieße Deinen wohlverdienten Urlaub in Bulgarien!

Wow 230 EUR feels like a lot for that kind of flight, I wonder what is the price with regular companies !

Was worrying that me suitcase is too heavy but it was ok.
