Bulgaria at Night (Election Campaign, Varna)

BSP election campaign concert in front of the sea garden in Varna, Bulgaria

English

Meanwhile, it is quite noticeable that Bulgaria is again in an election campaign. On October 2nd there are reelections of the parliament, because the pro-American government of the Canadian-Bulgarian Prime Minister Petkov was blown up with a motion of censure after only 6 months in office.

There was a concert by the Socialist Party (BSP) in front of the Sea Garden in Varna today, and parties gather daily in the pedestrian zone to debate how best to get the country out of the roaring energy and inflation crisis.

The proposals range from completely abolishing sanctions on Russia (Revival party) to pumping gas from the Black Sea (BSP). Both probably not very realistic.

Curious to see who will win the elections in Bulgaria and in which direction the country is going.

For a strange reason, in all EU countries, the exploitation of natural gas reserves is presented as not possible! I don't know many details about Bulgaria in comparison, brother, but in Greece, south of the island of Crete, there is a field that can provide energy coverage in Europe for at least ten years and its exploitation is possible in less than two years! The best thing is that the Greek foreign minister stated that Elly is not interested in the exploitation of hydrocarbons, but green energy! Let's hope that the Bulgarians will find a patriot who will care about his people and not about how to increase the numbers of his wealth

That's really stupid, Europe has a lot of gas reserves that could be exploited. Even with green energy you would still need fossil fuels and nuclear power for many decades to come to compensate for dark periods and peaks and to secure the network (energy diversification).
