Wagner Falls - Marvelous Michigan
South of Munising, Michigan, on the M-28, and just around the corner from Alger Falls is this treasure... Wagner Falls.
This sign lets you know you've arrived. There is a small amount of parking on both sides of the road. The easy trail is well-marked and only 0.18 mile.
This is what your hike is rewarded with - a puzzle-perfect waterfall with several chances of an unobscured photo, even with other people there.
This is the end of the path - with railing... a slightly better view of the waterfall. It's definitely worth the visit. I'll bet it looks much better when it's been raining more or in the early spring snowmelt, but it looks nice in July too.
The woods around Wagner Falls are nice too - these ferns dotted around the trees are beautiful.
A small stream with its own cascade approaches the path a little ways from the main waterfall. I need to come back on a quieter day to film as it would be a perfect set of relaxation videos.
Then, it was time to continue on our Walkabout.
Photos taken by myself in July 2022 with my Nikon D7200.
