Visit to Longewala, Jaisalmer

This week i am on vacation to Northern Largest State Of India, Rajasthan. I had visited to one of the most popular battlefields of Indian History, Longewala. It is situated approximately 100 Kms from Golden City, Jaisalmer. It is famous for 1971 India-Pakistan War, when Pakistan forces marched the Indian territory and reached at Longewala. Indian Battalion posted at Longewala had to face enemy more than 30 times in number with full tank regiment while india with just 120 brave soldiers with limited ammunition battled Pakistani Forces whole night till when Indian Air Force Striked early morning. Although Major work was done already by Indian Battalion of few soldiers. Longewala is a major attraction for people all over the country tk relive the glorious story of this great win.
