Spending An Evening In The Forest [ENG-TUR]

Hi Friends

Summer is officially over. Istanbul has entered September with rain. I think the hot or warm weather will continue for another month and a half. This summer, due to some busyness in my life, I couldn't do much more weekend activities than that of the last summer. I hope I will be able to do more weekend activities in the future. In this post, I will write about the Friday evening I spent at Taşdelen Recreation Area, which I visit in July.

Yaz mevsimi resmi olarak bitti sayılır. Istanbul Eylül ayına yağmurla girdi. Ben sıcak veys ılık havanın bir, bir buçuk ay daha devam edeceğini düşünüyorum. Bu yaz, hayatımdaki bir takım yoğunluklardan dolayı geçen yaza göre fazla haftasonu aktivitesi yapamadim. Umarım bundan sonraki süreçte daha fazla haftasonu aktivitesi yapabileceğim. Bu yazımda sizlere en son Temmuz ayında gittiğim Taşdelen Mesire Alanı'nda geçirdiğim Cuma akşamdan bahsedeceğim.

I and my friend were both off on Friday. We wanted to go to the forest and have a drink and get some fresh air in the afternoon. In fact, we wanted to go to our favorite place, Esenceli Village in Şile. Although it is forbidden to enter the forest areas in Istanbul, a friend of ours said that he went there last week. That's what we made our plan according to this reference. We met around four o'clock. We took the chair, table, samovar and other materials then set off. We also bought something to eat and drink on the way.

Arkadaşım da ben de Cuma günü izinliydik. Öğleden sonra haberleşerek ormana gidip birşeyler yemek içmek ve temiz hava almak istedik. Aslında biz favori yerimiz olan, Şile'de bulunan Esenceli Köyü'ne gitmek istiyorduk. Istanbul'da ormanlık alanlara giriş yasak olmasına karşın bir arkadaşımız geçen hafta oraya gittiĝini söylemişti. Biz de planımıza buna göre yaptık. Saat dört gibi buluştuk. Sandalye, masa semaver ve diğer malzemeleri alarak yola çıktık. Yol üstünde de yiyecek içecek bir şeyler aldık.

We arrived in Esenceli Village about an hour later. Just as we were about to go down to the dam from the entrance of the village, someone on the road told us that the Gendarme was waiting by the dam. There was no one around the dam anyway. We turned back without pushing our luck any further. We had come all this way for nothing, but after a long time we saw Esenceli Village

Yaklaşık bir saat sonra Esenceli Köyü'ne varmıştık. Tam köyün girişinden baraja doğru gidecekken, yol ûstünde birisi bize barajın orda Jandarmanın beklediğini söyledi. Zaten baraj etrafında da kimsecikler yoktu Şansımızı daha fazla zorlamadan geri döndük. O kadar yolu boşuna gelmiştik, ama uzun bir aradan sonra Esenceli Köyü'nü görmüş olduk.

On the way back, we made plan B and decided go to Taşdelen Recreation Area. We went back the way we had gone and at around 5:30 we sat at a table in the forest. There weren't many people as the weather was a little chilly and it was evening. We had quickly lit the samovar and eaten the food we bought until the tea was brewed. Until the tea was brewed, I wandered around the forest and took a few photos.

Geri dõnerken hemen B planını yapıp Taşdelen Mesire Alanı'na gitmeye karar verdik. Geldiğimiz yolu geri dönüp saat 5.30 gibi ormanda bir masaya oturduk. Havanın biraz serin olması ve akşam olması nedeniyle fazla kişi yoktu. Hemen semaveri yaktık, çay demlenene kadar aldığımız yiyecekleri yedik. Çay demlenene kadar ben biraz ormanda dolaşıp birkaç tane fotoğraf çektim.

Because the time was short, we brewed tea just once. After drinking tea and chatting until 8 o'clock in the evening, we left the forest. It was getting dark early now, and the forest was cooler than usual because of the wind. See you in my next travel or weekend activity post, take care of yourself. Zaman az olduğu için bir kez çay demledik. Akşam saat 8’e kadar çay içip muhabbet ettikten sonra ormandan ayrıldık. Hava artık erken kararıyordu ve rüzgar nedeniyle orman normalden daha serindi.
