Religion. Small Black And White series.

I never was a believer. I mean a religious person. I do believe in rock'n'roll, in my guitar, in my cameras (mostly in analog stuff), and in the healthy lifestyle, sure I believe in my family, which is not big, but compact and wonderful. But nothing inexplicable to my understanding and touch. Yes, I am sure that the UFO is not just an FBI and Pentagon's fairy tale. And for me, it exists, the unknown life beyond the sun, the universe, and black holes. Even I can't touch it or prove it exists.
My first touch with any religious activity around me, was the visit to some small church with my grandmother when I was so young, that I can't even say how old I was that day. She took me to some Russian Baptist or Orthodox church, and the atmosphere of something collapsed and smelled strange to me at that time, so I think that I asked her not to take me there again.

Anyway. After many many years since my first visit, these days I love to visit any historical-traditional-religious place to learn and to feel something different from my daily life. Sometimes I visit the Jerusalem churches for my photography. Or, just to listen for the silence inside and feel how little we are - the humans in the huge and boundless world.

Oh this seems like a text I could write, especially how it begins. Not a religious person, believer in rock and roll, guitars and cameras... I have enjoyed every line of your text as well as your photos. Thanks for sharing this @victorbz friend!

thank you very much for your kind words :-)
I have a lot of negative words to say about religion as well, but preferred to stay politically correct :-(
I'm living in a country where religions are tightly connected to the political life of it, and finally, this fact pulls us down.

I totally understand and I think we can share that opinion. Art and music at least are something that motivates us and makes us happy. I hope you have a good day, friend :)

I'm not religious either, but I've always admire that sort of mystic aura that churches have. It's nice and captivating, but not supernatural (at least for me).

I really liked both the text and the pictures in your post. You did a really nice job

Lovely shots as always my friend. Never was a believer myself, grew up surrounded by various flavors of fundamentalist Christianity and it left me hostile to religion generally, so if I can help it I avoid anything to do with religion.

huge thank you, my friend.
understand you. here is manly meaning "extreme right", even most of them talking about peace, shalom, salam. But their disconnection from reality and outstanding each of other are not healthy for the masses.
