Black and white film is best for BW photography (for the FILM photography community).

As I said in the title of this post - no matter how far technology is taking us, the black and white film is the best media for BW photography. This statement is not a declaration of war :-)
Just every time when I scan my old developed rolls or browse already scanned but still not reviewed images, I make this conclusion for myself.
Yesterday night I visited my friend, also a photographer and also a film photography hobbyist. He was busy with the film scanning process of a recently developed at-home roll of film. He exposed it with his newly purchased around 45-50 years old medium format Bronica camera. It was his first medium format fully mechanical camera, and I have to say that the results came out absolutely gorgeous. He was excited like hell, so I felt for him.

The images which I would like to show you today are photographed at the end of 2016 and the start of 2017 with my point-and-shoot Ricoh GR1s on various films - my usually preferred Ilford HP5 and the less loved by me Agfa APX 100 which I tried to push to 200 even this film is not a pushing process lover.

You will get no argument from me on that front.

You've got some pretty fantastic shadows and contrast with these pictures. They look amazing.
