Fechas Curiosas: 08 de Agosto Dia Internacional del Gato. // Curious Dates: August 08 International Cat Day Esp-Eng

Hola amigos de los animales sean mascotas o no, los animales son seres vivos y tambien debemos cuidar y quererlos.

Si es una curiosidad esto del Día Internacional del Gato, no la sabia, lo supe por un mensaje, busque en Google y si en efecto ay ese día, así como la del perro que es el 21 de julio, que no se me olvida, porque es el mismo día de cumpleaños de mi mama.

En mi búsqueda encontré que no solo el 08 de agosto es el Dia Internacioal del Gato, hay tres fechas y cada una tiene una explicación o motivo.

Vamos por parte con la primera fecha la de 08 de Agosto, esta fue creada por el Fondo Internacional para el Bienestar Animal, ya que en el hemisferio norte para esta fecha es la época de fertilidad mas grande de estos animales, se viene celebrando desde el año 2002.

La segunda fecha es el 20 de febrero, en honor a Socks, era el gato de Chelsea Clinton ,hija del ex-presidente Bill Clinton, tenia 18 años de vida, se le detecto cáncer en las tiroides y problemas con los riñones, para que vean que siendo animales también padecen enfermedades como las personas.

En vista de su situación de salud, deciden hacerle descansar por medio de la Eutanasia, el 20 de febrero de 2009, por eso es la segunda fecha de conmemoración o de celebración del DÍA INTERNACIONAL DEL GATO, en honor a Socks.

Y la otra fecha es el 29 de octubre esta fue dada por Collen Paige experta en mascotas para que ese día tras una campaña, sean adoptados los gatos, que no tienen familia.

Así que hasta ahora el gato es el animal con mas fechas para celebrar y yo no sabia ninguna, ahora si. Los gatos son cariñosos, les gustan que los mimen, hay una gran variedad de ellos.

Todas Las fotos de los gatos son de la casa de mi abuela en el fundo, que cada vez que vamos les tomamos fotos y miren que las pude usar aqui, las mismas se tomaron con cámaras Sony y Panasonic.
