Cruce a nado del Rio Orinoco. Ciudad Bolivar-Venezuela.
Saludos amigos de esta colmena de una vez aprovecho para agradecerle el apoyo y que estoy de regreso, con mas ganas y mucho que compartir.
Este sábado pasado 16 de marzo se llevo a cabo en mi ciudad natal Ciudad Bolívar, por tercer año consecutivo, la famosa ya competencia del cruce a nado del Rio Orinoco, el Rio Padre, uno de los mas importantes de Venezuela, el cual siento el orgullo decir que el rio es mío, de todos los bolivarenses, un rio con muchas historias y leyendas.
Para este año si nos propusimos venir a ver esta actividad, ya que en los años anteriores se nos olvidaba o nos enterábamos cuando ya había pasado, así que nos despertamos temprano, para estar allá a las 7, para estar desde el comienzo.
Había muchos participantes, de ambos sexos, desde niños, jovenes, adultos y de tercera edad, nadadores de gran parte de Venezuela, pude escuchar que vinieron de Anaco, El Tigre, Cumana, Puerto Ordaz, Maracaibo y por supuesto los anfitriones los de Ciudad Bolívar.
Vinieron por cuenta propia, como organizaciones y clubes, así que desde que llegamos se podía sentir además de la brisa, la emoción de ese día, mas que para esta temporada el rio esta muy bajo, y podemos caminar hasta cerca de la orilla aunque no lo hicimos por la actividad.
Poco a poco se fueron llegando las personas que venían a disfrutar de este cruce del Orinoco, apoyar a los atletas, había un gran control de seguridad, una gran logística, atención medica.
De verdad que las cosas hay que vivirlas para poder expresar las emociones vividas no es nada comparado con que si se lo cuentan o si lo vemos después por las redes, mas que queda tan cerca, se hace lo posible para asistir.
Fui con mi mama, mi hermana, no nos pudimos quedar para las premiaciones, pero si vimos todas las competencias, porque primero empezaron los adultos hombres, luego las mujeres para ellos fueron 3 kilómetros, hasta que no llegara el ultimo, no empezaba la siguiente la de los niños, que este año entre ellos estuvo un niño de 10 años de El Tigre con autismo un gran ejemplo, si luego los niños nadaron 1 kilometro, siempre con las medidas de seguridad para todos dentro y fuera del agua.

There were many participants, of both sexes, from children, youth, adults and seniors, swimmers from most of Venezuela, I heard that they came from Anaco, El Tigre, Cumana, Puerto Ordaz, Maracaibo and of course the hosts from Ciudad Bolivar.
They came on their own, as organizations and clubs, so from the moment we arrived you could feel not only the breeze, but also the excitement of that day, but for this season the river is very low, and we can walk close to the shore although we did not do it because of the activity.
Little by little the people who came to enjoy this crossing of the Orinoco, to support the athletes, there was a great security control, great logistics, medical attention.
Truly, you have to live these things to be able to express the emotions experienced is nothing compared to if you are told or if we see it later by the networks, but that is so close, we do our best to attend.
I went with my mom, my sister, we could not stay for the awards, but if we saw all the competitions, because first began the adult men, then the women for them were 3 kilometers, until the last one arrived, did not start the next one for children, which this year among them was a 10 year old boy from El Tigre with autism a great example, if then the children swam 1 kilometer, always with safety measures for all in and out of the water.
