Wednesday walk in Bulgarian village Tvarditsa

These days, with my bicycle, I visited a picturesque Bulgarian village located in South-Eastern Bulgaria - Tvarditsa.

Already entering the village, my attention was drawn to the bus stop - painted with the Bulgarian flag and with the face of the national hero Vasil Levski and one of his phrases

"Deeds are needed, not words".

On the other side of the street, I see the town hall, the door of which is also painted with the colors of the Bulgarian flag, and as I get closer I see that the whole yard is also in these colors - curbs, terraces, benches, bins.

I moved cycling toward the center of the village. Many houses that I passed had their flags unfurled.

In the center I saw another patriotic bus stop. She had the face of Nikola Stanchev - a wrestler and Bulgaria's first Olympic medalist. The village of Tvarditsa is his birthplace.

This large building is the kindergarten, which unfortunately is not functioning.

In the center of the village there is also a shop, an outdoor gazebo, and a tennis table.

In the distance I saw the Nativity of the Virgin Church. Approaching, I saw the Christian temple up close and the beautiful view around it.

Leaving the village I was accompanied by the company of this lovely dog.
