Planting Gomphrena

This year I want to have Gonfrena in our garden and I will not fail to grow it as it happened last year.

There are many species of Gonfrena, but the seeds I found for sale in my region are of Gonfrena Pompon which is about 45 cm tall and forms strong, hard stems.

I sowed the seeds on 18.01 in a waxing moon period.

I covered the seeds with a thin layer of soil and covered the container with plastic. I left the container on the windowsill in a warm place and the first seeds appeared after only 5 days.

Here's how they look after two weeks.

Not all of the seeds germinated, but most did.

I continue to keep the plants under a transparent cover. I hope they continue to grow so well and become big and healthy plants.
