Pink-Sorrel in our garden

One of the few plants that still show their beautiful colors even in January (although less and less) is the Pink sorrel, also known as sour grass.

It is a beautiful perennial bush that is still small in our garden as it was recently seeded from rhizomes.

Its leaves are very similar to clover and its flowers are small with deep pink tones, which when unopened look like funnels.

It is pleasant to observe this beautiful tuft when almost everything around is in lethargy.

I have seen this plant in gardens, it seems to be low maintenance, something I have been told about it is that it is edible, it is used for medicinal purposes although it is not good to take it for a long time, the truth is that I have never dared to try it 😅

And I have read that in some parts of the world, the plant is eaten, but we use it mainly for decoration 🌸. It's easy to grow and really quite hardy 👍
