Picking Chamomile

I love herbs, and I love picking them.

It's spring and right now it's full of all kinds of medicinal plants. Chamomile is one of them. I value the herb for a number of its properties. It has an anti-inflammatory, soothing and antibacterial effect. I use it in the form of tea, inhalations and decoctions for skin irritations.

It is slow to collect by hand, so this year I decided to get a special old tool from a neighbor that she has and use it to collect from the herb.

With this tool, it really turned out much faster and easier to collect the small flowers.

After collecting them, I placed them on newspaper and left them in a shady place to dry.

Thank you for stopping by!

Chamomile is one of the medicinal plants that has many benefits, as well as many others. Too bad that many people seek mostly synthetic medicine.

Regarding the photos, I think you have done a very good job, I love the angles and framing you have achieved. Excellent shots @vesytz friend 💪🏻📸

I like Chamomile tea, it's something I used to drink to help me sleep way back when. I haven't had it in ages and never home-made. You got loads of great photos and a good haul of flowers to dry. How long do you let them dry for?

It's great that you love chamomile tea! I dry the flowers for a few days - I judge when it is ready and store it in paper bags.
