Our garden in November

It seems like forever since I’ve been to our garden. It’s exciting to see what’s happening here.

Some of the loofahs are already ripe, but unfortunately most are green.

There are still bell peppers and eggplants.

There are even cherry tomatoes.

The marigolds are still blooming.

The fruits of the Devil’s Claw plant are already ripe and I can pick the hard pods that are full of ripe seeds.

The neighbor’s kittens are around, and the blossoms and fallen leaves of the mulberry tree on our street add to the autumn mood.

I would like to have a natural sponge plant, here in Venezuela that fruit is called estropajo, the plant is called luffa. Years ago I used it to scrub dishes and others for the body, it is an excellent exfoliator and natural.
