I was very excited to find this wild orchid - Lady orchid (Orchis purpurea).

First I found the smallest one, near a small stream. It had started to bloom slightly and stood out among the green surroundings.

Later in the day, friends found two more and showed me where they were.

The plants were about 30 cm tall with large leaves, and their flowers were charming - pale pink in color with small purple dots.

In addition to being very beautiful, the plant also has medicinal properties - its tubers are similar to those of the Common Orchid and

The tubers have a softening and anti-inflammatory effect due to the high content of mucus substances. It is used for inflammation of the respiratory tract, gastrointestinal diseases and others.

The sun was close to setting and it was exciting to observe this beauty against the backdrop of these dramatic clouds.
