Cynoglossum creticum - small beauties

I found this beautiful plant among many grasses and weeds near the Burgas neighborhood Sarafovo.

It has small fine flowers, located next to each other, several on a stem. The color was blue and purple with unique veining in darker colors that reminded me of butterfly patterns.

Its stems and leaves were covered with fine hairs like moss.

In Bulgarian, the plant is called Cretan naumka or Variegated naumka.

Variegated naumka is a biennial plant that can be seen blooming in the months of May, June and July.
