Day of the Little Candles in Colombia!

El 7 de diciembre se celebra el día de las velitas, la verdad desde que estoy aquí es primera vez que lo celebramos, es un día para reunirse en familia, pedir deseos y pasarla bien, al menos eso entendí.

Todos salieron a prender sus velitas, me pareció de lo más lindo sinceramente, nos quedamos cuidando los deseos hasta que la vela se extinguiera por completo, y bueno tampoco las podíamos dejar solas por prevención.

La pasamos muy bien, fue un momento de unión familiar y me pareció muy tierno, acá les comparto un poco.

December 7th is the Day of the Little Candles. To be honest, this is the first time we've celebrated it since I've been here. It's a day to get together with family, make wishes, and have a good time—at least that's what I understand.

Everyone went outside to light their candles, I thought it was really lovely, honestly. We stayed watching over the wishes until the candles burned out completely, and well, we couldn't leave them alone either.

We had a great time, it was a moment of family bonding and I found it very sweet, here I share a little bit.
