New Year's Eve in Banda Aceh

There were no fireworks in the sky over Banda Aceh on New Year's Eve 2023. Street activity was observed to be relatively normal, only the frequency of vehicle traffic increased, but there were no traffic jams.

On New Year's Eve, I went for a walk to capture the scene. I began photographing the New Year's ambiance at 23:00 in December 2022 until 03:00 in January 2023.

I photographed a variety of locations in Banda Aceh, including landmarks, street sceneries, casual snack spots, and children's play spaces. Compared to other cities around the world, it is relatively quiet for New Year's Eve.
