Heidelberg – I spent many years there. You really captured some beautiful images. Looking at your photos, I can’t help but think how interesting it would have been if you had walked through the pedestrian zone as well. You would have definitely found many great motifs there too.
I honestly can’t remember how many times I crossed the Karl Theodor Bridge. For five years, twice a day – and sometimes even more often when we were out for a few drinks.
Your post really brought back some beautiful memories for me.

Thank you so much, that really means a lot coming from someone who actually lived there. You’re absolutely right. I’m pretty sure I missed quite a lot by not walking through the pedestrian zone. Unfortunately, time (and honestly… energy) didn’t cooperate that day. But I guess that just means I have a good reason to come back! And crossing the bridge twice a day for five years… that sounds like a routine with a pretty amazing view. I’m really glad my photos could bring back some good memories for you.🙂
