Hives Top Model Reto: Glam [Eng-Esp] ✨

Oh there me!! i must add before starting today's post because, its been a journey since the beginning of this challenge in march. Now we are in April and the theme for the month of April is Glam, and we are about to show glamour in its full potential in this contest, and by the way happy new month too.

I would like to begin by greeting all my friends and contestants in today's post whom i believe have done their best job so , i am also extending this greeting to the panel of amazing judges and organisers who see to it that the contest run in an accurate and civilised manner, i am also commending all your efforts since the beginning of this challenge

So for me as individual whom is so passionate about the fashion, when i here the word glam what comes to mind is an extended aspect of fashion where all the flamboyance comes to life. For the first challenge of the April, when i read the instruction i had visualised a glamorous and sophisticated gatsby party in the spring of April, which if i am to attend would warrant a details of several props to match my the theme. My inspiration for my photos is a gatsby glamour event bringing me to explain in details my experience of making this vision come to life and what my theme for this challenge is about

At a gatsby party one of the main colours you usually would notice is black which is why i choose to wear a black dress with sequin detailing that would sparkle at night, i went with silver shoes because i could see this two colours would match so well for the theme. Now moving on my makeup style , i went for a dark glam makeup to match my gatsby theme, consisting of dark eyeshadow, black lipstick, and a lot of golden makeup highlighter, this look is done to look exaggerated and dark because a gatsby represents privilege,elegance and class. Some other accessories to go with my look are, a blonde bob cut wig, and some french tips nails which elevated the look the more, i also decided to go for pearl jewelries which is arguably jewellry pieces on the top of the list for a glamorous look and some silver wristwatch and wrist chains, and as you can already tell by now my main colours to match my gatsby is silver and black which compliments each other quite nicely if you ask me.

Some challenges i faced during my whole creative process, was my skepticism of wearing such a bold colour of lipstick because i was considering red the most, but i then decided to give the colour black a try and i turned out how i expected , i also faced some issues with personally taking this photos which is normal this are issues i would generally usually face taking my pictures alone using my tripod stand and shutter remote control , my photos where taking outdoors and some indoors, the indoor picture where taking with a self-made glam shoot inspired studio with curtains like the one you see in editorials and magazine pages and i thought the background colour added more aesthetics to the colour of my theme...Thanks for reading my post and i hope you liked my creation for this challenge.

Tengo que añadir antes de empezar el post de hoy, que ha sido un viaje desde el comienzo de este reto en marzo. Ahora estamos en abril y el tema para el mes de abril es Glam, y estamos a punto de mostrar el glamour en todo su potencial en este concurso, y por cierto feliz mes nuevo también.

Me gustaría empezar saludando a todos mis amigos y concursantes en el post de hoy que creo que han hecho su mejor trabajo hasta el momento, también estoy extendiendo este saludo al panel de jueces y organizadores increíbles que velan por que el concurso se ejecute de una manera precisa y civilizada, también estoy elogiando todos sus esfuerzos desde el inicio de este desafío.

Así que para mí, que soy una apasionada de la moda, cuando oigo la palabra "glamour" lo que me viene a la mente es un aspecto extendido de la moda donde toda la ostentación cobra vida. Para el primer reto del mes de abril, cuando leí las instrucciones me imaginé una glamurosa y sofisticada fiesta gatsby en la primavera de abril, a la que, si tuviera que asistir, necesitaría varios detalles de atrezzo a juego con el tema. Mi inspiración para mis fotos es un evento de glamour gatsby que me lleva a explicar en detalle mi experiencia de hacer esta visión a la vida y lo que mi tema para este desafío se trata.

En una fiesta gatsby uno de los colores principales que se suele notar es ** negro ** es por eso que opto por llevar un vestido negro con detalles de lentejuelas que brillan en la noche, me fui con zapatos de plata porque pude ver estos dos colores se combinan tan bien para el tema. Ahora pasando a mi estilo de maquillaje, me fui para un maquillaje oscuro glamour para que coincida con mi tema gatsby, que consiste en sombra de ojos oscura, lápiz labial negro, y un montón de resaltador de maquillaje de oro, este aspecto se hace para mirar exagerada y oscura porque un gatsby representa el privilegio, la elegancia y la clase. Otros accesorios que acompañan a mi look son una peluca rubia de corte recto y unas uñas con puntas francesas que realzan aún más el look. También me decidí por las joyas de perlas, que son sin duda las piezas de joyería que encabezan la lista de looks glamurosos y algunos reloj de pulsera de plata y cadenas de pulsera, y como ya se puede decir por ahora mis colores principales para que coincida con mi gastby es de plata y negro que se complementan muy bien si usted me pregunta.

Algunos de los retos a los que me enfrenté durante todo mi proceso creativo, fue mi escepticismo de usar un color tan audaz de lápiz labial porque yo estaba considerando el rojo más, pero luego decidí dar el color negro un intento y me resultó como yo esperaba, también me enfrenté a algunos problemas con la toma personal de estas fotos que es normal esto son problemas que por lo general se enfrentan a tomar mis fotos solo usando mi trípode y control remoto del obturador, mis fotos fueron tomadas al aire libre y algunas en interiores, la foto de interior donde tomar con un glamour hecho a sí mismo disparar estudio inspirado con cortinas como la que se ve en editoriales y páginas de revistas y pensé que el color de fondo añadido más estética para el color de mi tema.
