🖇️ Clips: visiting the new arts and crafts shop on Margarita Island 🎨 [Eng/Esp]

I hope you are all well. As for me, I am happy because I have finally finished this semester at university and I have a few days off until the next semester. Although what I literally did on my first day of mini-holiday was go to my dentist, but the appointment we had was cancelled because she had a problem.

But I didn't want to waste the outing, so I started wandering the streets and, above all, the shops, where I found a new shop dedicated to art, stationery and crafts that I loved. I must say that I went in first because the place was very nice and because I really like art, and I saw that they had a lot of things.

This shop is called Clips and it turns out that it's a new shop that opened in August last year, so they're relatively new. I can say that they had everything, from stationery to piñatas, even things for baking, such as different shaped cake moulds, cookie cutters and, in general, things for decorating.

Something that really catches your eye is that, from the moment you enter until the back of the shop, there is a very long section of foam and paper for decorating. In particular, there was a type of foam that I had never seen before, called textured foam, which, according to one of the girls who works there (very friendly, by the way), was the only shop on the whole island that had this type of foam; they also had many Korean paper designs that I loved.

They also had huge canvases for painting, although the larger ones did not have easels and the smaller ones did. They also had a section with piñatas and things for small children, such as storybooks and a few toys. In general, they had a wide variety of things for crafts, art, and baking.

I spent a while looking at the items and, although I didn't buy anything, I decided that the next time I go, I'll buy my things for university there, as well as some cute cookie cutters that I saw and loved.

Espero que se encuentren bien. Por mi parte, me encuentro feliz porque por fin ya terminé este semestre de la universidad y tengo unos cuantos días de vacaciones hasta el próximo semestre. Aunque lo que hice literalmente en mi primer día de minivacaciones fue ir con mi odontóloga, pero la cita que teníamos se canceló porque ella tuvo un problema.

Pero no quise desaprovechar la salida, así que me puse a recorrer las calles y, sobre todo, las tiendas, donde encontré una nueva tienda dedicada al arte, la papelería y las manualidades que me encantó. Debo decir que primero entré porque el lugar era muy bonito y porque me gusta mucho el arte y vi que tenían un montón de cosas.

Esta tienda se llama Clips y resulta que es una nueva tienda que abrió en agosto del año pasado, por lo que son relativamente nuevos. Puedo decir que tenían de todo, de papelería, piñatería, incluso cosas para hacer pastelería, como moldes de distintas formas para tortas, cortadores de galletas y, en general, cosas para decorar.

Algo que llama mucho la atención es que, desde que entras hasta el final de la tienda, hay una sección muy larga de foamis y papeles para decorar. En especial hubo un tipo de foami, que en lo personal no había visto antes, llamado foami texturizado, que, según me explicó una de las chicas que trabaja ahí (muy amable, por cierto), era la única tienda que contaba con ese tipo de foami en toda la isla; también tenían muchos diseños de papel coreano que me encantaron.

También tenían lienzos enormes para hacer pinturas, aunque los más grandes no tenían caballete y los más pequeños sí los tenían. También tenían una sección de piñatas y cosas para niños pequeños, como cuentos y uno que otro juguete. En general, tenían una gran variedad de cosas,, tanto para hacer manualidades, arte y pastelería.

Estuve un rato más viendo los artículos y, aunque no compré nada, decidí que la próxima vez que vaya comprare mis cosas para la universidad ahí, así como unos lindos cortadores de galletas que vi y que me encantaron.
