Back as an Orca (lowest level)

Ich musste doch wieder einsteigen ein wenig

Nicht nur wegen dem Rest einer geilen Community und weil ich im senilen Alter bin und in Zeiten schwebe, wo alles besser war - es war aber mal geil und eventuell wird es wieder geil - hab nach dem Ausflug zu einem Spiel die Wurzeln als wichtiger erachtet - Achtung ich werde nicht nur Techno posten, mal schauen wie es weitergeht. Und keine Angst, hab nicht alles verschleudert, aber zumindest Orca Level war mir wichtig. Supporte gerne alles was guten Content liefert, nicht nur Musik - natürlich beachte ich auch unsere deutsche Community (meine Power aber nicht Wal mäßig aber mehr as 1 Cent wieder)

Decision done - am back - Orca that helps Dolphins and any fish in the Hive sea

People told me I am stupid to powerup again anything on Hive - but I am here since over 8 years so I will try to support the best initiatives again with a bit more Hive Power again based on things..... - also consider to re-vitalize older contests and programs for my lovers of #music and #photography.

My plan was to be there but business stopped it as of an important event in Berlin - will check you out. Not doing this (PowerUp on Hive) to expect financial return at all anymore (these times are gone - I want the best chain to become a bit more popular outsie our small ecosystem) - but miss the community talks, contests and discussions (no matter if positive / negative / fights / love). Still have issues with some things around Hive but am here to discuss (again) - also expect downvotes (again) but will say what I think is best for Hive - of course I am not GOD so everyone can say what they want - that is the sweet thing about Hive - even the de-centralized approach could be improved (some might know what I mean :-)!).

So feel free to hit me anytime on chain or on Discord - I am a small fish still (again) but will try to help certain community initiatives and especially welcoming / RETAINING new Hive users.

I will post probably often about electronic music again

So be warned - that is where I come from - music is my life and the electronic area is my main love still - not that I would ignore other sounds though (people that followed me in the passt know that :-)!).

Ich freu mich drauf. Da scheints ja ne Glaubenskriese bei uns Elektroliebhabern zu geben inzwischen bei den Jüngeren. Mensch wir wollen doch nur Abzappeln.^^

Des Follow up ist kein von mir gemachtes Problem leider. Nicht wundern. :-)

I'm always happy to see people upgrade. We have actually gained orcas and whales in the last year, but we are losing minnows. We have to keep the smaller accounts engaged as well as recruiting new people. Of course the price is not helping, but Hive offers opportunities.

I'm sorry you won't be at Hivefest, but I still hope we can meet some day for a !BEER

Also the circle auto votes of only the few same persons again and again among groups of certain more established old HIVE users don't ...

It's natural for people to vote for those they know, but it's possible to get noticed. Human nature is a powerful force.

It's especially beneficial short term to build circle rings but counter productive for the economy as a whole long term.

For most new users (who don't know any whale, don't chill HIVE all the time but just make solid posts about their lives, who don't look like a model or aren't crypto celebrities) it is nearly impossible to get noticed - and that's why they actually leave.

Auto votes and lazyness of the stake holders to search manually for good content plays an important role here. Also still too many personal flag wars (there aren't still any measures against unjustified "But you have the wrong opinion!"-downvotes who don't serve the purpose to fight plagiarism or spam).

HIVE/STEEM exists more than eight years now ... if you compare the prices of bitcoin and STEEM/HIVE eight years ago and now, you may ask yourself, why exactly the HIVE price did so unbelievable bad while everybody here is praising its advantages? And no, it's NOT because nobody knows HIVE. Since the STEEM/HIVE war the platform became rather well-known in social medial.

It's less than ideal, but I hope things can improve. I encourage people to be social, but some just automate their voting for convenience. Most of my voting is manual. I hope that if Hive can grow them the blue distribution will improve. Growth could fix a few issues, but it's a bit of a chicken/egg situation.

Glad you decided to stick around. I have seen too many posts lately people announcing they're leaving, makes me sad. Congrats on being an Orca again.

I know you are (now) more known for your music projects but I am still remembering the good days of BeachWednesday and SunThursday - until some people spoiled it for everyone...
