Yummy Layers of Barbie Cake

Over the weekends, my niece celebrated her 1st birthday. Being an aunt and a Baker I decided to give her a Barbie-themed cake.

As usual, I made a vanilla cake as the base but then I spiced it up with chocolate and red velvet cake. It was my first red velvet cake trial. I was scared because I did not know how to make it, so I had to check the internet to
get some tutorials. This is quite helpful but a very risky action.

I followed every detail of the tutorial and had a glorious moist and yummy Red velvet cake.
So I had two cakes for the baby, a Barbie-themed cake and a coco melon-themed cake.

I noticed that every single time I work on a cake, I get new inspirations and ideas. I have been doing a lot of fondant work but recently I started practicing the buttercream icing Method. I could tell from the very first the start that my buttercream had no shape then and I wasn't exposed to the tools and covering method I know now. But now, a few changes have occurred and my buttercream icing is getting better every day.

All my cakes taste different from the usual, the coconut, vanilla, chocolate, and red velvet made a good treat leaving everyone licking their lips and smacking their tongues.
