Musical Growth- A better Edition

So much fear had gripped me after turning around to see the number of people in the room
The room was full and heavy
A lot of people failed and went back crying, because these judges were stern and ruthless.

They spat fire if you fumbled without considering how those words went Down you. I was the 6th contestant and the 4th contestant had already murdered the whole atmosphere

She performed "I looked to You by Whitney Houston" and trust me when I say her performance was top notch and glorious.

Hey guys Welcome to my Blog on the Q-inspired community. Today I would love to share my growth on music, measuring from all the 3 editions of Music Auditioning and Night of Worship Programme..
The above story is just a little bit of what I felt during the last music audition.
It's been 3 years of musical growth and all I can say is that there has been positive growth, a lot.

From Identifying keys to notes and then the minors and majors and skillfully applying it while singing. Also the ability to identify the different genres of music and which one suits my voice perfectly.

My voices found so much energy, strength and stamina that I could easily use my falsetto without sounding distorted.
It has really gone a long way in helping me with my local church choir during rehearsals.

During this Year's edition of auditioning, we went through thorough rehearsals and voice training in preparation for the audition.

It was the D-day and there was so much tension in the hall. It was my turn already and I went so carefree and this very "lethargic" kind of behaviour. The 4th contestant had won already that's what my mind kept on telling me, so no need💔😂.
It wasn't bad,I knew very well that I didn't give in my best and I was awaiting the tongues of fire but then I heard, you have this R&b voice texture, the other said your voice is colourful and all manner of positive things and then the judgment was I should practice more and sing more intentionlly.

I ranked fourth that day and third on the night of Worship. The final stage of the auditioning is by November. There the winner will be chosen, out of the six contestants that made it to the finals…..

It was a stepping stone to explore music and more.
