5 lessons from Hive

In few days or in a week, I'll be celebrating my second year on The Hive Blockchain. I might have not been able to make the most out of Hive due to some challenges, but then I have had stories and lessons to share.

Honestly, I got no formal orientation whilst coming to hive, I only heard " join hive and start making money for yourself". I started from Steemit and I could remember rushing every second to check out my $1 paid post, which will make my head very big, what they told me sounded like magic.

whereas my mentors on hive were putting in a lot of work and energy on the Blockchain and I had to learn a lot gradually just to become significant on the ecosystem.
In the course of my two years on hive, I have learnt the following Lessons which have smuggled it way into my everyday life.

Lesson 1

Socialization

I say this often, I don't really relate with people, I'm not a snub either, but then starting a conversation especially with a strange person, is a very difficult task for me, a very hard one. I talk to people related to me or are in my circle of friends. But then on the Hive Blockchain, I have the opportunity to share my thoughts with others , create bond and Rob minds with people with people I have never seen or come in contact with. Engagement is a force itself on Hive, I have been able to socialize with people- strangers as well. This communication skills has been applied to my Physical World and I have been able to gather Momentum and interact with people in the physical World.

Lesson 2

consistency

After socializing, you keep on doing it, tirelessly, engage frequently, doing things even when you don't feel like , showing up often, creating a niche, trying to be significant, all this sums up to Consistency.
The Blockchain has thought me to strive harder and keep showing up Everytime.

Lesson 3

Independence

Hive Blockchain has Thought me independence. The ability to make for myself without relying on anybody for help, doing everything all by Myself and creating wealth too for myself and by myself. With my earnings on Hive, I am able to afford most things a young adult like me would need for survival and good living.

Lesson 4

Originality.

There are tons of Platforms you could create something which is not your own and then go Scot-free. Hive Blockchain restrict ai generated contents, it restricts plagiarism thereby forcing you to create something of your own.

I have learnt Originality from Hive because everything here on My blog is Mine and with this skill, I could always be manipulative, industrious, creative, etc.

Lesson 5

Grit

you know that feeling when you try to make post and then very thing deletes without saving to draft? or when you are trying to upload a video and then you are having network issues which ends up disrupting your video.

The other day, I mistakenly deleted a video I was about editing, and a lot more. What about making a post and then coming back to realize that you've not been voted and your post hasn't been curated, you won't feel the flare to Post another One Right?
Hive Blockchain has thought Me grit, not giving up easily even when it doesn't work out, you keep doing it, even when you loose you keep trying.

These amongst Many are the lessons I've learnt so far here on hive.

Great points highlighted, socializing is one of the coolest things we can do here. Consistency to evolve and independence to learn. Thanks for sharing.

To be honest
Consistency is hard
It looks easy but it is not
Especially when it doesn't bear fruit when you intend it to

About socialization
It is a gradual process
One step at a time
Not so easy because some people you meet will make you regret ever coming out of your shell to mingle with them.

Best Wishes❤

You have learned valuable lessons dear and you have come a long way on Hive. The longer we remain here, the more we learn and it's a good thing that you took note of the lessons because not everyone does that.
