Photos sailing trip – Fotos paseo en velero (ENG/ESP)
Some time ago I met Mariela at a Poledance photo production that I had been commissioned to do for a Poledance school. A few days later she contacted me because she wanted to take other pictures. We arranged to meet at her house and we were talking about what theme to use, in principle she wanted promotional photos as she teaches pole dance and pole exotic and her house is prepared for this type of activity. We also talked about other types of photos that I had in mind and I showed her some photos that I had downloaded from the internet to have as an example and she liked them so much that we started to organize themes for several photo shoots. Among these options were to take pictures on the water and others on a boat. The latter is the one that came up as I had a friend who owned a sailboat on which we could take photos without any problems. We only needed to choose the moment, as it was important that the weather was good because we had to go out sailing.
Hace un tiempo que conocí a Mariela en una producción de fotos de Poledance que me habían encargado para una escuela de esta diciplina. Unos días después ella se comunicó conmigo porque quería hacerse otras fotos. Quedamos en encontrarnos en su casa y estuvimos hablando de que temática usar, en principio ella quería fotos de promoción ya que enseña pole dance y pole exotic y su casa está preparada para este tipo de actividad. También hablamos de otros tipos de fotos que yo tenía en mente y le mostré algunas fotos que había descargado de internet para tener como ejemplo y le gustaron a tal punto que empezamos a organizar temas para varias sesiones de fotografía. Entre estas opciones había para hacer fotos en el agua y otras en un barco. Esta última es la que surgió ya que tenía un amigo propietario de un velero en el cual podríamos hacer fotos sin problemas. Solo nos faltaba elegir el momento ya que era importante que fuera buen tiempo porque había que salir a navegar.
Finally the day arrived, it was the middle of summer and it was quite hot, full sun, light blue sky, little wind, ideal conditions to go sailing. The outing was on the river, but within an area of islands, which allowed us a quiet place with little movement of boats, without contamination from objects such as buildings, warehouses, boats, abandoned objects, etc. Although Mariela is not a model, she moved with ease and things came out relatively easily, naturally and spontaneously. The sailboat was not a large vessel, but we still had enough space to get the plans we needed.
Por fin llegó el día, era pleno verano y hacía bastante calor, sol a pleno, cielo celeste, poco viento, condiciones ideales para salir a navegar. La salida fue en el río, pero dentro de una zona de islas lo que nos posibilitaba un lugar tranquilo con poco movimiento de embarcaciones, sin contaminaciones de objetos como construcciones, depósitos, lanchas, objetos abandonados, etc. Si bien Mariela no es modelo, se movió con soltura y las cosas fueron saliendo con relativa facilidad, con naturalidad y de forma espontánea. El velero no era una embarcación de grandes dimensiones, pero aun así contamos con el espacio suficiente para conseguir los planos que necesitábamos.
For me it was a double pleasure, on the one hand the theme of photography which was what moved us on that occasion and in an environment that is not easy to achieve. On the other hand, my love of sailing and everything to do with boats and contact with the water, it was the first time I had been on a sailboat and it was a great pleasure. Doubly satisfied.
Para mí fue un doble gusto, por un lado el tema de la fotografía que era lo que nos movía en esa oportunidad y en un entorno que no es fácil conseguir. Por otro lado mi gusto por la náutica y todo lo que tenga que ver con embarcaciones y contacto con el agua, era la primera vez que subía a un velero y fue un gusto enorme. Doblemente satisfecho.
