Visiting Home, Broken Glass And Door

August is the last month of the year without a "BER" on its name. We Filipinos love to celebrate the early Season Holidays. But before that I think we need to rebuild our house somehow.

This Saturday we visited our house. And I didn't expect that the flood would be as high as these. Our wooden door is also wrecked, my son just covers it with a thin plywood.

Here's also the set-up that my son made to prevent our things from getting wet. But we didn't escape from the rats that love to tear our clothes. The last time we went here the flood was already on my neck! Onto my in-laws house we saw that the door was wrecked, so even the rain and wind is stronger we paddle way bank to check our things. That was the time when the hammock was bitten by the rat! Our clothes were soaked in floods. I want to blame my husband for not helping us organize our things. But it would never help! I just hope that my patience will remain strong for our kids!

Our glass windows were all gone! This is the view inside, while I also took on the outside. We also saw that a cabinet piece was also missing. My son got it and put it inside the house. I don't know if this is the worst flood. Aside from every year we experience this, it just gets worse. Our roof is alao leaking. Our refrigerator was also soaked in flood. But they told us that after three weeks we can used it again.

On the way home we saw a beautiful sunset. I didn't notice the time it was already late when we needed to come back home.

It’s so painful when the things we’ve worked hard for, our clothes, appliances and furniture get destroyed by something we can’t control. Sending you strength and hope as you rebuild again.💕

I am so sorry to hear about all the damage to your home 😢 It must be incredibly difficult to face that kind of situation year after year 😢 After all, it's great to see that your family has a lot of strength and resilience despite what happened. It's wonderful that your son is so helpful 🙌 I hope things improve soon 🙏

It’s not easy seeing your things damaged, but you’re staying strong for your children. That’s something to admire.

Oh how sad that you experience flood in your home. Maybe you can move or stay for a while with your relatives for you to atleast not experience this again. I hope you are all okay.
