PhotoFeed Contest - Wildlife Photography Round 76

IMG_20230219_103948_236.jpg

Hello hive community and @photofeed it's been a while since I join this wonderful contest.

My son went to his uncle to asked for some free fish. He didn't expect that his uncle will include a turtle. And not just any turtle but a wild one. On the first photo above you will notice how wild it is. Please zoom the lights for clearer image. It was on the sack as it comes out the turtle was about to bit my son. Good thing that his father told him what to do. Hold it awag from it's head. It was dangerous, see the slippers my husband gave it to the turtle so it will have something to bite.

The Chinese softshell turtle (Pelodiscus sinensis) is a species of softshell turtle that is native to mainland China (Inner Mongolia to Guangxi, including Hong Kong) and Taiwan, with records of escapees—some of which have established introduced populations—in a wide range of other Asian countries, as well as Spain, Brazil and Hawaii.
