ASEAN Hive Community Challenge #183 Photography: Picture Purple

The community challenge for this week is my favorite color. When I hear the word "Purple" the only thing that comes in my mind is calmness or relaxation. My mom has insomnia. She can't sleep so she'll smell her Chamomile spray and lit a candle to make her sleep. Ever since a child I love purple stuff and up to now my two beautiful girls Ria @katsuki29 loves purple.

I didn’t really know what photos to share. We don't have much purple stuff in our house. But I look around and realize that purple is actually one of the colors that appear in our daily lives. So I just collected a few simple moments, they will definitely fit for this weeks theme.

The first photo is my daughter Ria eating snack, wearing her purple Minnie Mouse shirt. She didn’t even know I was taking pictures. She just sat there with her messy hair while eating. Kids grow fast, and sometimes these simple scenes become the memories we treasure.

The sky gave us a gift. The purple clouds during sunset were so beautiful that I can’t stop myself from taking pictures. The sky had this soft mix of pink, violet, and a little blue, like it was painted slowly right in front of us. It makes me feel calm, even life is heavy sometimes. I always believe that skies like this are reminders from above that better days are coming. And scenes are so rare, orange, gold and yellow often appear in front of me. But this is one of my favorite.

There’s also a photo of me standing by the water wearing a purple top. Nothing fancy, just me holding a stick and standing on our floating bridge. Life here is not easy, but moments like this make it feel lighter. Especially when I had the opportunity to tell others the story of our "Picture Purple"
