Wednesday Walk: The late and Unexpected celebration
Greetings Wednesday Walk community! Our holiday fell on Tuesday, so we got a long weekend from October 29 to November 2. I was fortunate to get a break from my college studies as well. There were, however, some situations where I had to engage in physical activity. Although there were a lot of unforeseen happenings, I can say that I liked the extended weekend off.
The Halloween Trick-or-Treat event was intended to take place on November 2. Sadly, it was postponed on the same day that it was announced. I had made the materials for his Little Nightmares character Mono costume at the time, so I was quite sad. However, the school once again declared that the kids would have a costume celebration for Book Month. However, the new theme is a book event with children dressing as characters from books, cartoons, or movies instead of for Halloween. If I insisted on having Mono from Little Nightmares dress up, it would no longer suit the concept.
When it came to the book event, I this time asked my son what kind of cartoon he wanted to cosplay. From Adventure Time, he recalled Finn. It's a good thing Finn's costume is simple because it allows me to use our hammer props. I had the entire day to create her headpiece. Only Styrofoam, glue, paper, and white acrylic paint were the supplies I utilized. Fortunately, the heat wave yesterday caused his headdress to dry and solidify quickly.
I spent some time outside looking for a simple blue t-shirt while also drying my son's headdress. I just rode the boat to the market again, and luckily, I bought clothes to use as a costume right away.

I nearly exceeded 8000 steps throughout the course of the day. It was unusual because, despite my exhaustion, I was still able to recuperate from physical activity since, to be quite honest, I was also stressed out by my weight's abrupt increase. Although exhausting, it's well worth it.

Fri., November 4.
It's the Book event today. I got up early with my son to get ready. We made the decision to walk back to the Jeep station because it was cloudy and dark outside- a good time to stroll around. He was delighted since numerous kids asked him what the name of the character he was cosplaying as while we were out strolling. There was some argument between the guard and some parents when we arrived at school. The reason being that we parents believed we could enter their quadrangle and at the very least take pictures of our kids with their peers. Unfortunately, parents were not permitted to enter. However, a few minutes after our children entered, I decided to joined some moms who were lucky to get inside since we had a valid reason to enter.

Almost all of the kids were in excellent costumes, which was a lot of fun to observe. As they parade around the school, I can see the enthusiasm in their eyes. I also saw them approach the stage so their teachers could take their pictures. Even though I was a long distance away, I could still see my son rocking his accessories and headpiece with almost joy.
Following their procession around the quadrangle, kids proceeded up to their individual classrooms to trick-or-treat in the different rooms. The school security guard here directed us to go home. However, I was overjoyed when their costume party actually took place.
My son is still in school right now, but we are hearing from our group chat that the kids are delighted because they received a lot of candies from other classrooms. My youngster will undoubtedly have many stories to tell later.
Anyway, I'll wrap up the narrative right now. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope to write again in this community soon. Thank you so much @tattoodjay for creating this community. I am actually thinking where to put this blog but I immediately remember that there is a community where I can share this content here in Hive.
Again, Have a good day, Hivers!
