Starry Starry Night at the University Feat. Huge Telescopes
Hi, Wednesday Walk Group! It's been quite difficult and draining for me because I'm still adjusting to college life. It's been a month since we returned to the typical session, but I'm still in agony and want to stop. Sometimes I consider just abandoning studying because several of my classmates have opted to do the same. Nonetheless, I continue to take strength from the life ideas that I hold dear.
Even so, there are still days when I look forward to going to school. There are still many wonderful moments at college that I wish to enjoy every day, like interacting with other students.

So, last Wednesday, we finished the last session of our class early, but we had no idea there would be an event taking place in our university's quadrangle.
We were still puzzled as to why the quad was so busy, but as our team neared, I learned that there was a free telescope viewing for all students at our university.

My buddies first refused to participate, but since I pushed them to, and because we only get to see the large telescopes in our nation once in a lifetime, I eventually got them to line up.
As I am a major lover of the celestial bodies, I can't really miss this school event. I also have my own telescope at our home, but I still don't know how to utilize the telescope's lenses. I intend to concentrate on that once we have sembreak.
Returning to the telescopes, my experience that night was thrilling and wonderful. It was amusing because, first and foremost, the students who instructed us on how to operate and use the telescopes were quite kind. We believe they are quite knowledgeable about astronomy.
Second, the telescopes that our school now utilizes are really attractive. It's ironic because the local government made significant investments to ensure that we had telescopes that are up to date with contemporary technology.
So, while I was waiting in line, I was listening to other students talk about the stars and the visible Mars. It's extra funnier since the conversation veered off into numerous directions, and we ended up talking about some reviews regarding the movie Interstellar and Away.

Finally, I was able to view Mars via this telescope. I did not receive this telescope's model, but I can say that my experience was well worth it and memorable. It's too bad I couldn't take a photo with my phone since there were so many other pupils in line behind me. Over all, it was a lot of fun and well worth it! I was incredibly fortunate to have come in that day since otherwise I would not have had the opportunity to handle such a massive telescope.

Thank you for reading! 💖🥰😇

Such cool telescopes must have been such an awesome experience
Thanks for joining the Wednesday, its always fun for me to visit the walks from all around the world, getting a feel for communities where people live and what they see on their daily walks
My experience was really great. Hopefully I'll be joining another planet viewing in the upcoming months. ☺️😍
Cool now you have inspired me to see if there are any observatories here open to the public
To be honest, some observatories are not totally open to public here. we just got lucky coz our school have this field and that's why we have our own huge telescopes. How about in your area , sir?
I did a quick look earlier and didnt have any luck finding any open to the public around here
Sana makita ko rin ang Mars hehe..
Malaking tuldok lang ate pero iba feeling. Mas malaki siya kesa sa nakikita natin everyday na mga stars.
