Dinosour Egg Mushroom
Actually, as far as I know, its a giant puffball mushroom and we get them from time to time in our hay field up to 45cm (15in) around. They start white, turn dark brown over the summer and dry up to a puff ball.
Doesn't look like some kind of reptile egg or something though, and not a mushroom ??
It's almost as big as our dog, this one. He's not quite sure what to think of it.

I had no idea mushrooms could get that big (outside of fairy tales).
I imagine they're best spotted from the air?
I've seen these mushrooms in the mountains up to 1meter around. They were insanely huge!
