CCC'S Street Art contest #157: Passenger rickshaw
Hello friends in StreetArt Community...
My post today to contribute in StreetArt contest #157 with admin @digi-me. Yesterday, I went shopping for a bag to the Hong Kong tax in Medan City Center. This Hongkong tax is located on Jalan Kutanopan. Along Jalan Kutanopan and Jalan Asia, there are many pillars supporting the Medan - Kualanamu railroad. I found a street art that caught my attention, a rickshaw, a rickshaw driver and an old man. This piece of street art looks interesting to me, because of the red background and the yellow flowers that fill the background. The yellow color of the flame which signifies enthusiasm also makes this street art look attractive.
At the top of the painting, there is a black background and there are several star attributes, it seems that this painter is depicting the impression of a night atmosphere in the painting. The flames are yellow and red on the top with a black background, adding to the beauty of the painting.
Next under the stars, there is an old man in simple clothes, he looks like he is staring at the stars. Maybe this old man was praying and wanted something. His face was unkempt, lots of hair on his face that hadn't been shaved.
I also saw a rickshaw driver with a helmet on, he was not in his rickshaw. The rickshaw driver was looking at the old man. I think that street artists want to show the life of the "lower class". This painting depicts the life of the underprivileged. Even so, to be honest I can't understand the meaning of this painting.
Finally, there is a passenger rickshaw, this rickshaw is among the yellow flowers on a red background. This rickshaw sank in it. In general, pedicabs in Indonesia are colored black, white, yellow and red. I rarely see a blue rickshaw like this. But the blue color manages to display an illustration of a passenger rickshaw. I can't catch the implied meaning of this work of art. But overall, I like the attractive color combination and it manages to catch my attention. The painting of the passenger rickshaw is also beautiful and clearly visible.
Thank you for reading my post.
I took all the photos with the Realme GT master Limited edition 5G camera.

Thanks so much @arcange 🥰
Another great pillar. Sometimes we don't need to understand the artist's intention to appreciate his work. Thanks for sharing these pics on The StreetArt Community.
