Amazing weekend at Aek Sijornih, South Tapanuli
Hello friends in Weekend Experience Community, I will share the story of my extraordinary journey to a tourist spot in South Tapanuli district, North Sumatra Province, Indonesia. The tourist spot that I will visit is called Aek Sijornih. If friends are looking for references for recreation on weekends or holidays, I recommend Aek Sijornih. This is a tourist spot with amazingly beautiful natural scenery.
Aek Sijornih is a tourist spot in the form of a terraced waterfall with a clear flowing river, so it is called Aek Sijornih which means a clear river. Aek Sijornih's water comes from a spring that is above the hills that surround the Aek Sijornih area, this is a natural spring and is one of the sources of clean water for the city of Padang Sidempuan, which is the capital of the South Tapanuli district.
Aek Sijornih is surrounded by towering coconut trees, thus adding to the beauty of Aek Sijornih. Beautiful natural scenery, cool weather and refreshing water, make visitors feel at home for a long time here. Visitors who came not only came from the South Tapanuli district but many also came from outside the area.
Visitors are charged Rp. 20.00 to enter the tourist area.
The waterfall that flows from the top of the hill into the river below, has cold water and a fairly swift current. But visitors are very happy, can enjoy a natural waterfall that comes from the hill.
For visitors who bring children, they can play in the water as much as they want in the artificial pool, the manager also provides an artificial pool with a water source that comes from a waterfall on the hill, so that visitors who bring children will be safer bathing in an artificial pool.
When you are tired of bathing in the waterfall, visitors can rest in the space provided, which is a hut measuring about 1 x 2 meters. In order to be able to use these huts, visitors must rent these huts with a price range of Rp. 30,000-Rp. 50,000, depending on the location of the hut. For those who carry a cell phone, don't be afraid of running out of battery, because in these huts there is a place for a charger.
To be honest, when I first got out of the car, the parking lot was on the side of the road, the beautiful view of Aek Sijornih was not visible. Visitors have to walk about 10 minutes from the parking lot to the tourist area. Visitors also have to pass through a suspension bridge to reach the tourist attractions. One of the very interesting things was when we crossed the suspension bridge, many children were in the river and shouted "coins". These children perform attractive performances to attract the attention of visitors for coins.
When enjoying water tourism in Aek Sijornih, we must be careful not to slip, because the natural stones are slippery and sharp. So when bringing children, we have to keep an eye on them. I brought my two children, Marsa and Rais, to enjoy the beauty of tourism in Aek Sijornih. This is one way to have the best weekend with your family.
