Mountain Phlox in Arizona
It's nice to see wildflower blossoms springing up before the Summer heat scorches the earth. These Mountain Phlox (Phlox austromontana) are in full bloom now.
These small plants are growing on the scrubby roadside near our home and we're easy to spot with their dainty pink flowers as I walked by today.
Hopefully we'll get a little bit more rain to keep these little gems blossoming for a while longer.
