My Actifit Report Card: December 18 2022

Lulu and I enjoyed a bit warm(er) Winter weather today down in the old gold area around Stanton. Nice to have some sun and temperatures almost to 60 degrees instead of around freezing and with snow on the ground.

I hiked around for a couple of miles back and forth along the very dry creeks and up and down the rocky hills checking out all the different spots to check. Lulu was busy sniffing every hole she came across hoping to flush out a rabbit or two but just some lizards and a couple of roadrunner were out with us.

At least my legs and back didn't feel to tired with the hiking and then digging but I was a bit stiff after the drive home.
I decided to put in some easy miles later in the afternoon back in Prescott. My leg was sore by then but not bothersome enough to really affect my stride so I had a good 4 mile loop around the area. I'll be glad to try to get back on the bandwagon with my running in the new year as it seems the end of 2022 is ending up as a dud.
Time to stretch out and rest - see you all in the new week.
