MY MOM'S 76TH BIRTHDAY (ENG-ESP)

A day full of much joy, what more can you ask for when you are having a birthday, than to celebrate life, well I tell you that this time we celebrated the birthday of my beautiful mother number 76, how nice to reach that age full of health and with a family that loves her very much, she received many gifts and flowers that fascinate her, it was a very pleasant afternoon, full of much joy and fun, She enjoyed it very much, the whole family was together, her sisters, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, godchildren, cousins, neighbors and could not miss her children all together after so long, there was a huge pot with rib soup where each of the guests could enjoy until they were full, we danced, sang, told jokes and enjoyed the crazy hour.

Un día lleno de muchísima alegría, que más se puede pedir cuando se está cumpliendo año, que celebrar la vida, pues bien les digo que celebramos esta vez el cumpleaños de mi hermosa madre número 76, que bonito llegar a esa edad llena de salud y con una familia que la quiere mucho recibió muchos regalos y flores que a ella le fascinan, fue una tarde muy amena, llena de muchísima alegría y diversión, ella lo disfrutó muchísimo, estuvo toda la familia reunida, sus hermanas, sobrinos nietos, ahijados, primos, vecinos y no podrían faltar sus hijos todos juntos después de tanto tiempo se realizó una enorme olla con sopa de costilla donde cada uno de los invitados pudo disfrutar hasta quedar llenos, se bailó, canto, se contaron chistes disfrutamos de la hora loca.

We had the opportunity to prepare a delicious drink that was enough for everyone until the last, I gave her a quesillo cake that she had asked me which was very tasty, she also received a chocolate quesillo as a gift, finally everyone gave her their respective gifts, the music was in charge of a cousin who was in charge of bringing something variable and danceable to form our bochinches, we did not have enough chairs, but we started to bring the neighbors that were there.
And so the hour passed, some dancing, others drinking and many chatting and making jokes. The birthday girl had fun and shared with everyone, I know she enjoyed it very much, until it was time to sing the birthday song, since some were leaving early to be able to get transportation.

Tuvimos la oportunidad de preparar una rica bebida que alcanzó para todos hasta lo último, yo le regale una torta de quesillo que ella me había pedido el cual me quedo muy rica, también recibió quesillo de chocolate de regalo en fin cada quien le hizo sus respectivos obsequios, la música estuvo a cargo de un primo que se encargó de llevar algo variable y bailable para poder formar nuestros bochinches, no teníamos suficiente silla, pero se empezó a traer la de los vecinos que allí se encontraba.
Así fueron pasando la hora, unos bailando, otros tomando y muchos conversando y haciendo chistes. La cumpleañera con todos se divertía y compartía, sé que lo disfrutó mucho, hasta que llegó la hora de cantar cumpleaños, ya que unos se iban temprano para poder conseguir transporte.

Happy birthday time came and, as the song says, they were very happy. Anyway, the birthday was sung and a few started to leave. There were only a few of us left and still the pachanga continued, of course, there was still booze, but like all Venezuelans, they didn't leave until the well was drained.

Llegó la hora del cumpleaños feliz y, como dice la canción, fueron muy felices. En fin, se cantó el cumpleaños y unos pocos empezaron a marcharse. Ya empezamos a quedar pocos y aun así continuaba la pachanga, claro, aún había bebida, pero como todo venezolano, no se fueron hasta que achicaron el pozo.
