Ugochill Music Tranquilo in Valencia part2 (Street Art and Parties)

Hi everyone.

As told in the previous post, visiting Valencia Spain was truly lovely experience.

Classic Mediterranean beauty combined with modern architecture, and plenty of street art and culture as well.
We were not aware but we were fortunate to visit in the begining of March when the city has their traditional celebration, festival called Fellas.

"The Fallas (Valencian: Falles; Spanish: Fallas) is a traditional celebration held annually in commemoration of Saint Joseph in the city of Valencia, Spain. The five main days celebrated are from 15 to 19 March,[1] while the Mascletà, a pyrotechnic spectacle of firecracker detonation and fireworks display, takes place every day from 1 to 19 March."

We also met with our dear friends and fellow Hivers , @mipiano and @ph1102 and had one lovely Saturday evening where we actually took a glimpse of some of the activities of this rather massive street festival.

The city also has a rather extensive network of graffiti and street art. Honestly, for us all of that was a nice surprise. We did not know much about it, so instead of me writing, I suggest reading some articles we also read to find out what this is all about.

Valencia, all in all made truly great impression on us. Writing this today on 19th of March when these festivities close already gives a rather nostalgic feeling and we were not that keen on going back to Amsterdam, at least not after only one week. Place deserves longer stay. :)
